Description
The Mustad Wide Gap Weedless Hook is the perfect hook targeting Bass, Perch, Zander, Northern Pike or Walleye and many other freshwater species. Perfect for tube bait soft lures. Rigging the tube lure is easy. Start by opening the weedguard and insert it into the rear of your tube bait. Continue till the tube is all the way through, making a straight presentation. Finish by resetting the weedguard on the point of the hook, never over the barb. The wide gap and extra wide bend leaves room for more bulky tube lures. Fish it Texas or Carolina rig style or just free swimming. The “MTL-V1” point combines a more efficient point design with a new sharpening process to enhance the quality. The result is a sharper, sleek new point shape with penetration resistance 50% lower than standard Classic Hook points! Bronze finish.
