Shimano has reengineered the Talavera Type Slow J A series with jig-focused features that deliver comfort and on-water performance for jiggers of all experience levels. Available in three models ranging from ML to MH power, the Talavera Type Slow J A lineup is built to target a wide range of bottom-dwelling and pelagic species. Featuring an ultra-durable solid carbon blank, each rod is designed for slow, methodical jigging. Its parabolic action loads and unloads with every lift, pitching the jig upward before allowing it to fall with an erratic flutter that mimics a wounded baitfish. This action is further enhanced by DIAFLASH technology, carbon tape reinforcement in the lower blank that reduces twist for more precise jig movement while adding power through the rear section for smoother, more controlled fights.
